Event recognizing 50 years of the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce starts the party
The Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce held the kickoff to its 50-year anniversary celebration on Oct. 4 at Rockwoods Bar and Grill in Otsego with a gold rush.
With The Bank of Elk River as the presenting sponsor, attendees had chances to strike it big. Rep. Nick Zerwas handed out small bags of gold nuggets and a special prize for one lucky guest, and there was a chance to cash in at the end of the night with gold rush poker. There was both a silent and live auction.
Noah Sonie provided live entertainment.
