Ashley HomeStore, Furniture Mart give to CAER

In support of the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign, Ashley HomeStore and Furniture Mart in Elk River, contributed $5,000 and ran a food and fund drive that generated another $2,600 in cash and 1,353 pounds of food to Community Aid Elk River. “The assistance that the CAER food shelf provides to Elk River and the surrounding communities is truly remarkable and we are proud to help support the work they do” said Tom Smaby, the manager at Elk River Ashley HomeStore and Furniture Mart. Smaby (far left) presented checks to Chad Johnson, the executive director for CAER, and Heather Kliewer, CAER’s operations manager.
