Incentives for business relocation

Elk River, Minnesota is a prime place to grow a business. It’s a comfortably sized city but it’s conveniently close to the Twin Cities metro area. Elk River features a dedicated and well-educated workforce and has a strong manufacturing base.
The area has funding incentives available for industrial businesses that bring in good jobs. Qualifying businesses can receive low interest loans of up to $100,000 through the Elk River Economic Development Authority for real estate, equipment and infrastructure costs related to locating or expanding in Elk River.
Loans greater than $75,000 are tied to specific job creation outcomes.
