Postal Service sells Elk River land to senior housing developer

The United States Postal Service has sold a 4.5-acre site in Elk River to a developer of senior housing.
An entity related to Stillwater-based Hearth Development paid $1.4 million for the vacant site on the northeast corner of Line Avenue and 181st Avenue, according to Certificate of Real Estate Value filed in Sherburne County. The sale closed May 5.
