City thanks bank for sponsoring concerts

The Bank of Elk River has been recognized by the Elk River City Council for its sponsorship of the Riverfront Concert Series.
At the June 3 Elk River City Council meeting, Mayor John Dietz presented a plaque to John Babcock, the bank’s chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Julia Schreifels, the bank’s director of marketing. He read the inscription, which said that because of the bank’s generous contribution, the city has been able to bring live music, celebration and endless fun to the city’s residents.
