Legion Riders hit the road for vets

Some heroes don’t wear capes. They ride motorcycles.
On June 2, the Zimmerman Legion Riders hosted their second annual Veterans Run, riding from Zimmerman to Onamia to present donations totaling $50,000 to various local veterans groups.
Dozens of riders gathered at the Zimmerman American Legion at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning before their supporters sent them off amidst cheers and roaring engines.
