Elk River Farmers Market plans for 2019 season
5 Mar 2019
Planning for the 2019 Elk River Farmers Market is well underway.
The market will be held from 3-7 p.m. Thursdays from June 6 through Oct. 3 in downtown Elk River. About two-thirds of the 41 vendor spaces are full and applications are still being accepted, according to Karen Wingard, farmers market and special events coordinator for the city of Elk River. All produce vendors from last year are coming back in 2019, as are the vendors selling cupcakes, jam, honey, kettle corn, lemonade, hot sauce, cheese, bacon and sausage.
Wingard said they are looking for vendors who sell maple syrup, wild rice, mushrooms, eggs and any ready-to-eat foods.
