Spirit Award honors 2
November 19, 2018
Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota recognized two local employees with the 2018 Spirit Award, which honors employees who demonstrate outstanding commitment and dedication to the organization’s vision and mission.
The distinctive qualities that honorees bring to their work were highlighted at an awards luncheon in August:
•Tashia Maland is a mental health practitioner who builds strong relationships with colleagues and the individuals she supports. She is a strong advocate for the youth and families she serves.
•Erika Roske is a direct support professional who pushes limits to explore all possibilities for meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities she supports.
Of the organization’s 2,300 employees across Minnesota, 84 honorees were selected to receive the award. Honorees are nominated by their peers and supervisors. They were recognized at an awards luncheon at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud in August.
