Oliver Kelley Farm in Elk River opens for the season

The historic Oliver Kelley Farm in Elk River is now open for the season.

Hours through May 27 are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays with the farm closed on weekdays.

From May 28 to Sept. 3 the farm will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays and closed on Mondays.

Fall hours from Sept. 4 to Oct. 31 will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays with the site closed on weekdays.

The farm will be open Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day.

Admission fees are adults, $12; seniors ages 65 plus, veterans and active military and college students, $10; and children ages 5-17, $6. Children ages 4 and under and Minnesota Historical Society members are admitted free.

The Kelley Farm is a working 1860s farm. The site also includes a new visitor center, outdoor exhibits and programming to help tell the broad story of agricultural history from the 1860s to modern day.
