A proven leader for our school system

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” ~John Quincy Adams
In March, Elk River’s Independent School District 728 unanimously hired Daniel Bittman as its new superintendent. Bittman is already recognized as a strong leader in education. He won the Minnesota Association of School Administrators’ 2016 Superintendent of the Year award for his work with Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools.
Bittman is known for his relationship building and passion for education. He’s an ideal candidate to continue ISD 728’s mission to “educate, inspire, and empower our diverse learners, to shape their futures, to accomplish their dreams and to contribute positively to our local and global communities.”
