Downtown is the Heart of a Community

Research has shown that a vibrant downtown is essential for a robust and thriving small-town community. Ironically, internally-determined regulations and policies can make it very difficult for new businesses to open and existing ones to expand in downtown areas.

Not so in Elk River. For decades, we have been invested at a grassroots level in our own success. The River’s Edge Downtown Business Association is a collaboration of local community leaders who work together to make downtown strong. The River’s Edge Downtown Association shares ideas, coordinate events and supports business ventures. We know that what’s good for all is good for each of us and we look forward to inviting more to join our great town.
