Spring Forward: Upgrade Your Home with Help from Elk River

March 28, 2025

Spring is finally here. Is your home in need of home or energy efficiency improvements?

As temperatures rise and flowers bloom, now is an ideal time to look around your home and think about what changes you want to make this season. Did you notice any ice buildup around your roofline this winter? Did drafty windows cause your utility bills to rise? No matter what repairs or upgrades you’re considering, you may be eligible for loans, grants, and rebates to make your next project more affordable.

Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) offers several statewide loans to homeowners and partners with the Elk River Housing and Redevelopment Authority to provide unique community loans to Elk River residents. From general home improvements to solar panels to air source heat pumps (ASHPs) and beyond, we offer several financing options with flexible terms that can be used for home and energy efficiency improvements. For a full list of available programs, visit mncee.org/programs-elk-river-residents.

If you have any questions about available loans or financing, please reach out to CEE at 612-335-5884 or visit mncee.org/loans.
